Land, Sea & Air™ is a unique formula that enhances the benefits of a homeopathic remedy used traditionally for motion comfort, with the support of botanical and nutritional ingredients shown to promote a sense of well-being in those areas of the body most affected by motion.* It was carefully designed to provide multiple modes of action to help maintain composure when riding in moving vehicles such as cars, planes and boats. Homeopathic Cocculus indicus, the active ingredient, has been used by homeopathic physicians as a specific for motion sickness for over 100 years. It works at the energetic level of the tissues and is well known among homeopathic physicians for its effectiveness.* Supporting the action of Cocculus is ginger root (zingiber officinale). Ginger has been shown in scientific studies to effectively ease the stomach and related sensations, and to be free of detrimental side effects.* Ginger has also been shown to have a positive impact on joint swelling, comfort and mobility, which makes it very useful during prolonged periods of sitting such as during a flight or long car ride.* Some of the discomforts of travel are caused by changes in electrolyte and fluid balances in the body and tissue swelling. Can I take Land, Sea & Air™ with prescription or non-prescription medicines?
According to the Arizona Poison Control Center (February 25, 2006), there are no contraindications for homeopathic Cocculus indicus, ginger or vitamin B 6. However, the following drugs may interact with vitamin B6: Amiodarone Hydrochloride (can enhance photosensitivity), Fosphenotoin (may decrease concentration of drug), Phenetoin, (may decrease concentration of drug), Hydralazine Hydrochloride (may increase requirements for vitamn B6), Isoniazid (my increase requirements for vitamin B6), Levodopa (vitamin B6 may increase effectiveness of drug). Ginger may increase absorption of some oral drugs, including Warfarin (Coumadin), Plavix, Aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, calcium channel blockers and Guanfacine Hydrochloride. [top]

If you are pregnant, you are probably aware that ginger has safely been used as a remedy for morning sickness for over a century.* However, there are some studies that indicate that in extremely high quantities, ginger may be a contributing factor in miscarriage.* The high doses used in these studies appear to be the critical factor.* Lower doses have not shown this effect.* We used these studies as a guideline to make sure Land, Sea & Air™ is safe for pregnant women too.* The amount of ginger contained in 4 capsules per 24 hours of this product is well below the dose used in these studies.* However, in order to be completely safe, we recommend that pregnant women follow the guideline of not exceeding 4 capsules per 24 hours.* [top]

They are small enough for most people to swallow without difficulty, and can easily be pulled apart and the contents added to a little water or juice for those who cannot swallow them whole.
